Saturday Special

• Rangers lost 3-1 to Hibs in the Cup. Celtic are out also.
• David Moore led the Saturday walk from Nelson St. over the forestry road to Innellan, 3 hours. Many were bushed! Mum and two others got a bus to Toward and walked to the Osborne (under new management), about four miles. They called me when I was just about finished building the metal bed in our room, after dismantling our wooden bed and reassembling in Alison's room. We had lunch just before the others arrived.
• They then walked the further four miles, many of them, into Dunoon.
• Read about George Robertson becoming a director of Western Ferries in the Observer this week.
• I should soon be on the internet with Suse 7.0 (it is the best, having tried version 9.1)
• Marianne has recovered from an infection and was singing in the bath!
• I saw a good bit of Freeman Dyson at friend Charlie's. Doubt if it can be downloaded. I should be on fast downloads soon, broadband, when I get round to it.
