A New Year Start

• Need batteries for my camera!
• On duty at the Kirn centre for first time this year. Very busy.
• Revising PowerPoint for our test soon. Really amazed that it can convert a set of slides in a format for putting on a web page. I could call it up in my browser.
• David tells me many teachers prepare their lessons on PowerPoint; even lectures could be put on a web site.
• A few pills to combat the inflamation in my wrist are completely successful.
• Trying to load Slackware on an old computer but it seems to be taking for ever. I'll try again using the method where notes come up telling what stages are being performed.
• Very wet and stormy today.
• Emma sent Gran a first e-mail!
