• Working on family tree. Interupted by phone call from MY cousin David from Halesworth, ... his son Garry who wants to buy a war medal (Andrew Forrest McMorran) on e-bay and has found photos on the internet of John McMorran (Biggar, wife Shiela Dinwiddie) when he was a footballer and played with Liverpool, Bolton, Guildford. In his youth the McMorran families could easily provide their own football team!
• Mum busy looking up photos of the cottages at Synton Mains, near Ashkirk; Headshaw farm cottage; Dimpleknowe cottage. for the September Walking Festival.
• We had a six mile walk round by the mines at Gairletter..it took three hours and I'd say we were going at 2 mph.
• Still very cold today.
• Think I have the solution for sending slides for those without Microsoft's PowerPoint. Try it with Betty Baillie first.
• Working on computers tomorrow. Learning quite a bit as we go along. Don't know why we bother...technology has gone away ahead of us!!
