Almost Christmas

Aunt Betty has had an operation to squeeze a nerve, which causes pain like neuralgia. Signs are hopeful of success.

My uncle Jim died in Suffolk, after several years of Altzeimer's, but I was glad I visited him when I did...he said he thought he would never see me again!! But I doubt if he really appreciated the searches on the Hannah side that we followed up after came up for his cousin's funeral in Biggar (John McMorran). So many people recognised him as a Hannah! which tickled him. Mrs Whiteside's son and daughter (from photos) certainly looked like my uncle Andrew, Jim's brother.

We are having Andrea for dinner!

I was looking at Glen Snyder's letter of last Christmas and see that he had been using DSL (a small linux program which loads into chip memory and uses a disk when necessary, although it all can be loaded onto the C: drive....my next job! Jeremiah (Jerry) next door, 2nd year electronics and computing at university is a wizard!!

Hope you get better soon. Love to all.
