More progress

We all went to see "Joseph and his ...." performed by Dunoon Primary School children and it was very good. Talked a while with Gordon McAllister...asking after Alastair.
Brian (the retired builder from Sandbank), having found a disc with an appropriate driver was able to access the D: drive of Betty Baillie's old machine and load Windows96 on to it. That is something...an achievement, so I hope we can load SuSE Linux on to it as well(bought from MicroMart mag. for £6 ... so that equals Gordon's buying his for the same price at the local Hospice shop!). The going price is about £54.
Mum is out a walk from Inverkip to the Garden Centre along with Diane Taylor. Weather is not too good.
I found out my mistake with Javascript...I had been calling up another browser page, instead of using the one already open!. So now a crude OXO game works. I'm working on a version of Seega(OXO layout;three coins on the top row;three different coins on the bottom row; move a coin one or two squares alternately; first to get three in a row except for the starting rows, is the winner.) It is a game played by modern Egyptians, I'm told. Shone and Marianne enjoy it, because they often beat me!
Must get these tickets done for Marian Fletcher, a get-to-gether at Toward next week! Always at the last moment. Like the sausage sizzle (& hamburgers) at Glenkin last year.
Aunt Margaret McMorran from Boghead is due about 5p.m. with a WRI bus trip to the Esplanade.
Love to all
