A cruise on the Waverley

Weather was not as good as forecast, but we took a two-hour trip on the Waverley paddle steamer round to Loch Goil, turning at Carrick Castle and stopping at Blairmore pier (newly mended and with the harbourmaster's cottage now being renovated privately). By the way, on my trip round Cumbrae I made for Millport (not the town on Arran)!.
I think I said we had booked a day trip to Belfast, with time at Stranraer to have a look around there again.
